Dr. Avi Raveh, Ph.D.

Dr. Raveh is an active researcher specializing in medicinal chemistry and focusing on naturally derived products. He joined the Blavatnik Center for Drug Discovery as the head of the Medicinal Chemistry Unit and was later promoted to Chief Scientific officer. In 2018, Dr. Raveh joined the editorial board of "Drug Development Research" (Wiley). Today, Dr. Raveh is the Director of Chemistry, Materials, Nanotechnology, and Energy in Israel's Ministry of Innovation.

Prof. Marianna Rachmiel, M.D.
Head of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Institute, Shamir (Assaf Haroffeh Medical Center) Associate Professor at Sackler School of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University.
Since completing her Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship at Toronto’s Children's Hospital in 2006, Mariana has published nearly 80 publications in peer-reviewed journals, mainly on type 1 diabetes, general pediatric endocrinology, and metabolism. She was the principal investigator in several researches, both identifying the immune mechanism of type 1 diabetes and in the treatment of new-onset type 1 diabetes (stage 3), and presented her work at several international conventions. In the last decade, She has also been a reviewer at several journals, including the Journal of Pediatrics, Acta Diabetologica, Pediatric Diabetes, and JCEM.
